York of Denmark is a 1998 breeding stallion with blood lines that scream of performance and talent. He is a deep chestnut with a very heavy, wavy, and thick mane and tail which is much lighter in color. He has a natural high trotting motion coupled with a great traveling stride. With just light chains behind, his hocks nearly touch his belly! This is truly a cross from yesteryear, as we bred "Dancer" when she was 19 to Commodore when he was 25. Commodore was claimed the World's Champion Five Gaited Stallion in 1974, undefeated in the ring.York has good solid bones, straight legs, beautiful head, wonderful temperament, and lots of talent to pass on to the future. York carries the "X" Factor mutant heart line which is present in only 28% of Saddlebreds according the ASHA Magazine's recent articles.
